My infinite salutations at your divine lotus feet Swamiji 🙇‍♀️💐 immense gratitude for everything 🙇‍♀️

For a very long time i used to wonder, how to put my son into path of spirituality, as i myself cannot memorise and recite a simple mantra. I wanted someone to teach him matras, initially I thought of putting him to some shloka reciting online classes. But then really didn’t know what was the use of it. I started to understand the meaning of sadhana only after Swamiji came into our lives. I wanted my son to be initiated by Swamiji, but i came to know, below 18 are not eligible. I wanted my son to have something to hold on to, in his teenage years or any difficult times as an anchor,  something to guide him in right direction. When sadhana app was released, i felt, this is it, this is what I was looking for all these while.

This post is not to boast about my son😊, this is just to show my gratitude to the wonderful app.

When i showed the app to my son, he was all excited and started doing the Pooja and Abhisheka right away. And ofcourse he created the profile with his name and picture, as usual initial enthusiasm was very high😅

Very soon he completed Shiva Panchakshari sadhana, he did it with lot of enthusiasm and focus.

Meantime realised he should have first started with Ganesha Sadhana, so i asked him to do the short period Ganesha tantra Sadhana.

By now he came to know there is something to measure his progress, “Leaderboard”!!! 😅 He was holding the position 3 in the sadhana score..now all his efforts were to become number one in the leaderboard 😄😄..but for me as long as something keeps him motivated and he keeps on doing sadhana i was more than happy. I know kiddish, but he is a kid after all😊

So he started with 40 day Vedamata Gayathri sadhana. This was quite a journey. We went for a trip during the sadhana, his school started, he had to board the bus at 7.30 in the morning, before that he had to finish the sadhana. If he delays doing sadhana on Sunday then it wouldn’t open at 6.30 on Monday. So, many planning had to be done, which also sort of disciplined him.

Meantime, he was constantly monitoring the leaderboard, this time he had gone to 50+ position because he had not taken up any sadhana for somedays in between 😌

After the upgrade of the app recently there were some hiccups, he had to change time from morning to evening, which affected his playtime, tv time,. homework etc. He went little bit off track with respect to his dedication. Also got disappointed with leaderboard showing 500+ position. Finally he finished his sadhana on Sunday. Due to some mismatch of the number of days app was showing, i asked him to do one day additional, so officially his Sadhana got over on this Monday.

Now he has learnt mudras of the sadhana that he had undertaken, and few mantras, i am happy about it. I did ask him if he saw anything in his dreams(i know too much hopes😛😇) but he said none. He was not well towards the last few days of sadhana, now little bit better.

Today all of a sudden my inner voice guided me to open the leaderboard, kidding 😊, i just happen to look at it, lo and behold, he is in the first place. It is a miracle!!, you know why, it is due some data discrepancy i guess. But how does it matter, he will be very happy to see his dream come true☺️

I wrote this blog, just to say how grateful i am for the app as it is going to guide so many seekers and people like us.

My only concern is, his enthusiasm should not be short lived..

Please bless my son Swamiji, so that he continues his journey in the path with at most dedication and sincerity 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Ps: one observation though, in the beginning school bus pickup time was 7.20am and drop was 4pm. My son had to getup early and was going to sleep late in the night. But within sometime his route number changed, changing the pickup and drop timings, as 7.40am and 3.50pm..30min less sitting in the bus!!
