Stream of Consciousness

I did good business in the morning today. This is how I wish my business was everyday. Nowadays with everyone ordering things online I’m worried what’s going to happen to us shopkeepers. Now Swiggy and Zomato have started delivering groceries and vegetables and fruits in 15min. So as soon as my customers call I have to rush to their houses to deliver. But at least my customers will never buy vegetables online. They don’t trust these online people to give fresh vegetables They buy vegetables only from me. My God is great. Because of my Ganapati I decided to sell vegetables and fruits also in my shop and not just groceries. I have to pay rent also. If I had not been selling vegetables what would have become of me after this online fast delivery started. My son is doing some computer course. What is he going to gain with that? Instead he should help me with deliveries. He used to deliver when he was in college but now he thinks it’s below his dignity. We have to go for that marriage tomorrow. Now my wife will want to buy a gift for the couple. That lady on the top floor orders 3 times a day. Why can’t she order at one go! My wife made delicious curry last night. But it had a little extra salt. How angry she got when I told her that! Why can’t I tell her if the salt is more. My chaiwalla hasn’t come yet. If I don’t drink tea on time I get a headache. There comes a miserly customer. He’ll check everything and buy just one thing. Today he’s looking quite happy. Maybe he’ll buy more. Now look at that, he’s picking up so many things. I better strike a conversation with him and tempt him to buy more.
